oregon

i am missing oregon -- a lot. it has been over two years since we last went as a family. malik was too little to appreciate the whole experience. i miss our summer trips. the strawberries, blueberries, sunny skies, swimming in the cold and refreshing north fork, the cabin, hiking, bike-riding, uncles and grandparents, family, waterfalls, parks, wide-open spaces, the trees, mountains - ALL of it. we usually go in the summer, but this year we are hoping to spend a white christmas there. that just seems too far away. i wanna be there now. the kids would love to just run through grandma's yard and explore...i guess i just have to be patient!
