you mainlanders get snow days. here in hawaii, we get rain days. yep. school is cancelled for Faith due to the downpour/flashflood. it has been raining nonstop for hours on end now. reminds me of the good 'ole days when i would look forward to the high school flooding so we wouldn't have school. haha! even being in school when it rained really hard made it more exciting. mud, puddles everywhere, rain-soaked sweatshirts and jeans. fun! the track and football field flooding and people bringing their boogie boards to play! ahh, the sound of rain can be so soothing.

i tried hard not to laugh out loud when i read your comment since everyone in my house is sound asleep (babies)... but OF COURSE i wasnt talking about you and really iwasnt talking about anyone in particular... just generally.
by the way, you might be one of the most thoughtful people i know and even when i didnt know you that well i felt like you were one of my very most supportive and there-for-you kind of friends... so thanks for that.
and doug- if you are reading this- COME TO THE PAR-TAY! it's gonna be ridiculous, maybe. and i frankly dont want to miss any of the drama. :)
