after malik said something untrue:
me - "malik, stop lying."
malik - "i'm not lying! my nose is not growing!"
yeah, we just got Pinocchio and it's his favorite right now.
while malik was sitting at the table eating lunch:
malik - "Dora and Boots were in outer space and they went through the Milky Way and they went over the rocks (asteroids) and the purple planet and they were in a rocket."
me - "really!? what else did they do?"
seen - malik running up the stairs after a trip to the pool with faith and dad:
malik - "mommy, i drowned!" looking all happy.
me - "what do you mean? you went under? what happened?"
malik - "i was in the lifeguard thing (lifeguard ring floaty thing) and then i let go."
me - "did you go underwater like a fish?"
malik - "no, like a dolphin."
malik, after brushing his teeth:
"look, mom. i did a very good job brushing my teeth. see, there's no more plaque."

Maliky is so funny, so smart, plaque, never knew that word till like third grade when the dental hygenist visited us in school

i remembered what it was- why does my blogs name not have a photo under it on the side bar? i am so uncool. that is a pretty cool little feature.
