mundaneness

well, it's been a week since i have updated...not much goin' on around here. i am glad when it's raining outside, it makes being stuck a little easier. i have been sewing some stuff. then i have to put a box together and mail it off to some recipients...you know who ya'll are. i feel like i am running out of things to do around these parts for entertainment. wah-wah. the kids have been coping very well. though they forget we don't have wheels and ask to go visit someone or go somewhere every now and then.
the routine: pool. up the hill. down the hill. a visit to the beach across the street. climbing little trees. looking for bugs. picking flowers. getting crazy with every single toy they own and sprawling them all over the house, only to drag their little feet and dish out fits of protest when it's time to clean it all up. coloring. painting. playdoh. movies. popcorn. homemade sheet tents/clubhouses.
we did get visits from matti, eden, texton, stephanie, ambrose, and sweet asher. thanks for making the trip out here, people. seriously, a change of pace is welcome for sure.
beach fridays are still on, though we probably won't make it this week. speaking of which, where do you all wanna do it for July? keep in mind that when the tradewinds are blowing like crazy, the chances for blue bubbles and getting stung are more likely for the east side (hukilau, castles, etc...). and if you wanna come before 9:30, come early - less wind in the early-morning hours, and less chance of getting burned. leave some suggestions and majority rule, i guess that's how we'll do it. hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far!!! i miss all your faces!!! and as soon as i get wheels again, gideon and asher will be in my arms!!! mwahahaha!!
