i found the bottom three at a thrift store for $1.99 each!
i'll use them for potholders and rag bags and a beach/picnic blanket
and whatever else i can think of.

the top three are vintage material - peter pan fabric from the 60's or 70's -
that used to be a blanket i took ownership of (from my mom?),
until it started coming apart at the seams.
i wanna make special things with those. not sure what yet...
any ideas?

oh and last comment from me today (i swear!) (oh man, you'll be so disappointed when you find out all these comments are just from me and echo haha):
sometimes your font is so small i have to copy/paste it into word to read it- like "recent reads"! ah, i am such a dedicated fan/reader of yours.
i guess i lied before when i said it was the last comment from me cause now i wanna answer your comment:
yeah, i think i am viewing it at 100% but we have a HUGE computer screen so maybe that makes a difference?
i dont know if anyone else has a similar problem but its all your titles for me like aloha beach friday and written by liko 5 ft. overhead labels....etc.
Yes, Liko that 'blanket' was sewn and given to us by Sis. Veloria (from Kohala). It was huge...I guess she was thinking about what they (her and her husband) would need, as she was making it.
oooh!!! what thrift store did you guys go to? I have only had a little luck every now and again here. Maybe I am not as dedicated as I should be.
oooh, nice fabrics, i want to get into that, to get me through the long winters mom just set up her sewing machine last night, they bought a table on craigslist and we put it in last night, maybe i can get on that thing sometimes, i just don't wanna break itg
I love those fabrics!! Good job!!
I think skirts or vintage style aprons would be fun.
