it's that time of year again, time to bust out the Christmas music and prepare for the whirlwind of holidays to hit.
i LOVE it!!!
this year, i did store-bought costumes. all.the.way. saved me time and honestly saved me some moola, too.
this year our ward didn't do the traditional trunk-or-treat. we had dinner, then the YW and YM were assigned 12 different rooms, each with a different game. the kids were given a card with 3 rows of four game numbers. in order to get the numbers crossed off, they had to play the game. with each row filled, they could redeem it for a face painting, a cotton candy, and a shaved ice. it was great! then at the end of the evening, the kids were handed out some little goody bags. no candy overload and we didn't get rained on like last year.
then last night, we went to faith's school for some halloween crafts, story telling, scary (yet interesting) science experiments, and a haunted house -- along with a pizza dinner.
next up: pumpkin carving and trick-or-treating!!!

ha ha at faiths face when she's getting painted, So serious sheesh. It's "Mr. Increable!"(thatshow that mime guy says it on the movie) ha ha ha, so cute!! i can't fit anything for a costume, so junk, looks like good fun
oh faith's make-up is so david bowie i love it! i want! dont be surprised if you see me sportin some stars on my face next time we meet up!
sorry we didn't meet up last night- i couldnt hold amby off any longer and was hoping we would see you at some point.
i love the pictures of the beach! i miss it so much!
