yesterday, we walked to the temple from the playground with echo, adelaide, and gideon. we went to cool off in the visitors center. since i had to drive that way today to get faith's TB test read, me and the kids decided to have a little picnic on the grass in the shade. our original plan was to walk up the hill behind the temple. but, as there is construction going on, the gate to get up to the parking lot was closed. so we opted for the grassy area on the temple grounds instead. it was a warm, sunny day with a breeze. we had a good time running and chasing each other, getting red in the cheeks and sweating, playing with a "coconut boat", looking for bugs, and just laying down and gazing up at the sky and leafy treetops.

it was a good time.

first off, i am so happy your feeling better!

and what a lovely way to spend an afternoon, wish we were still living right across the street from there so you could have come over for popsicles to cool off after!
