these two monkeys have been making me laugh
my boyfriend blew out some candles
daddy had friday off, so we spontaneously decided to go camping.
we packed up, headed out, and found our own little cove.
we grilled up some shrimp and salmon and enjoyed the scenery
then we searched for a place to pitch our tent
this spot looked ideal
we are enjoying doug's paid holidays!!! we had a fun night of camping up at rocky point. the kids knocked out once it got dark, but not until after we star-gazed. it was an adventure for us all! there were some showers and we woke in the morning to some drips. i got an early morning swim in with the kids and overall, it was a memorable experience. doug wants to make it a weekend thing...and we just might!

Where did you find that cove? it looks like the west side. Enjoy the time that you have with your family now...it goes all too fast...look at us, only Angela and Jess. At least we will never be true empty-nesters.:-)
