i FINALLY got around to sewing something for me.
i know it doesn't look like much, the hem is unfinished and it's wrinkled.
it's knit and there's a black waistband on top that you can't see.
and i added some white petal-looking embellishments (an idea from a j.crew catalog) to add some cuteness.
echo inspired me to just make a skirt and so i got one i already had, laid it out, cut around it, then sewed it together.
it's just my test-run for several that i have in mind.
simple, easy, and it fits -- which is what matters most.

hooray! good work! you guys are inspiring me to finish the skirt i started making from my favorite skirt before asher was born! haha- in fact i havent worn that skirt since it has pins on it from trying to create the pattern- ha! anyway, the embellishment is so so cute! good job designer!
