i picked this up:
i must admit, i had no clue who norman rockwell was. it was the list of author's whose works were included in this book that sucked me in. don't worry, i googled mr. rockwell and discovered he is an artist -- a painter. several of his lovely paintings pepper the pages amongst the stories, poems, and carols.
and it was a splurge. a "splurge" in the book sale sense; which, roughly, translates into $2.50.
i really love the holidays!!! and i am loving this cool, wet weather -- the closest it's gonna get for us to fall and winter.
it makes me wanna cozy up inside and do some sewing, baking, cocoa-drinking, maybe a workout dvd...the list goes on.

such a good find! i wanna go down next week to the book sale. i love that place.
we have that book! well, my mom does and it was out every year at christmastime growing up and i love it. we got it AT norman rockwell's house when i was seven and we went on this cross country trip. that's really the only reason i know who he is but i have felt like he is a part of my family's history ever since- like we are related or something haha.
i havent been to that book sale in so long- it would be fun to go again.
and i am also ready to fully embrace some holiday activities. i have already started baking and EATING oh my goodness. it has been fun.
I need to go to that book sale one of these days. You always get good stuff! Good find!
