blah!

so, my house is full of germs right now. malik started it, with his runny nose and then his hacking cough. then faith slowly got it. i came down with something on friday, had the chills and felt feverish, the sickest i have been since becoming a mom. now doug has it. i am hoping that whatever it is makes its way out on its own -- and soon. and that antibiotics isn't required. 'til then there will continue to be a lot of napping going on and we haven't been venturing out much. other than that, i hope that everyone had a pleasant memorial day weekend!
oh, and did i mention that on saturday night some bozo broke into our junka-lunka car and trashed the inside -- pulling everything that was neatly stowed-away in the compartments out all over the place?? doug filed a police report and noted what was taken. i try not to leave valuables in the car. the thing we cannot figure out is, why that car? of all the cars in the parking lot, i think our '97 honda wagon is in the saddest shape. very peculiar...i cannot wait for the day when we have our own house with our own yard and a garage to park the cars in -- with a big dog to scare thieves and crazy people away. or at least deter them.
