hmmm...this might make me sound like i have OCD.

1. every time i drive (or am a passenger in a car) through a tunnel, i think to myself, "i hope that this tunnel doesn't collapse when i'm in it..." and kinda hold my breath til the car is on the other side.

2. when it comes to CDs and DVDs, it is hard for me to watch someone not grab them properly. i.e. when the side with the movie or music is being touched. the way I do it: i have to put my index finger on the inner edge while my thumb rests lightly on the outer edge (the "correct" way).

3. i cannot stand looking at stains or dirty spots on my kids' clothes, or my clothes (only the NICE ones, of course. the play clothes, i could care less). my first impulse is to take that article of clothing off and wash the dirty spots away as soon as i am in close proximity of a sink and soap. i know, my poor kids. it isn't as bad as it sounds, really...

4. i get claustrophobic in parking structures. i think that is also the reason for quirk #1.

5. i am afraid of heights. that's considered a quirk, right? generic, but true.

6. in public restrooms, it makes me cringe to see people walk in there without anything on their feet (the ones at the beach). it seriously makes me gag, especially if the ground is wet or has any kind of moisture on it.
