i really enjoyed general conference this weekend. it's always lovely to hear the words of our prophet, apostles, and other general authorities. several, if not all, of the talks seemed directed at me and i feel spiritually edified and refreshed. i really enjoyed Elder Uchtdorf's talk about how living the Gospel refines us as we learn from our mistakes. Elder Oaks' thoughts on charity make me wanna go out and serve and i cannot wait to meet up next week with melissa as she gets that service club up and running. and Elder Bednar's talk makes me anticipate the re-opening of the temple even more. Elder Perry's words about missionary work made me think of my sister in south korea, and about some of my own family members and the joy i long for them to feel. and Elder Holland's thoughts made me think of my sister jessyca and how i feel, at times.
here's to being active, rather than passive and to embracing change with faith.

i love conference. it always helps me realign my life. i come away from this weekend feeling refreshed and ready to tackle hard things.
