remember this place? i miss it. topping off a beachy afternoon or evening on the north shore with a slice of yummy pizza used to be one of my favorite things to do. too bad it's gone.

liko- NO WAY i didnt get those fabrics at fabricmart!! hahaha- if i did it would be pure aloha... which could be cool too. but i got all these from the fabulous fabric worm on etsy - and please help me! let's make quilts together!
OH and YES! i loved sunset pizza. what about the beach always makes you starving??? even if you just laid there reading a magazine the whole time...
we used to go there a lot and then one day it was flat ground and nothing more.
i wish it would return and i loved taste of paradise too. both were so so good for filling me up right after a day at the beach.
oh, yes, taste of paradise was my favorite! the salmon with brown rice and black beans with the salad made from local greens and topped off with papaya seed dressing. mmmm mmmm good.
I totally remember that place! I miss it too!! ooh. taste of paradise was good too until it went all touristy... ;D and expensive. I think. They had a really good steak plate!
it was a sin to tear that place down ...
:(
Wait a minute!! When did it go away?? I LOVED that place. What happened to it?? SO sad :(
yeah, trudi, they tore sunset pizza and kammie's market down years ago and they were supposed to build some other market or restaurant or something. for the longest time there was only a cinderblock wall because i don't think they had a permit to continue construction. so dumb. so there's nothing there. just chevron. so boring. and taste of paradise is gone, too. so now there's only ted's and foodland, and ted's is becoming so popular and commercialized, catering to the tourists, raising prices. and now there are tons of 'no parking' signs along the whole north shore stretch all along the highway at most of the surf breaks. things just ain't the same as they used to be around here...
