| my newly-six year old!!! the html on this new formatting thing is not cooperating, but, i digress. it's been too long since my last post. our lovely vacation came to an end and we jumped right back into the school routine. malik started preschool, faith is now a first-grader, and mama got a part-time job. we've been busy busy. we celebrated daddy's birthday and faith just turned 6!!! we spent the day celebrating at the beach with our little family and aunty alohi. for lunch we got acai bowls and faith's favorite crunchy chicken. then we went to uncle ryan's house to play some more in the pool and on the beach. we sang happy birthday to the birthday girl and devoured some delicious made-from-scratch raw pie. then we did a family stand-up-paddle around the corner to kawela bay as the sun began to set. it was a very fun, relaxing day. and some of the first pictures i took since being back in the islands. thank you grandmas and grandpas and aunties and uncles for the birthday wishes and gifts!! and happy birthday to uncle aaron, too!!! hope it was awesome!!! | <><>
